Namibia Gibeon Meteorite

This is one of my favorite pieces that I have, even though it is only 11 grams. The Gibeon meteorite is an Iron Octahedrite IVA. It was discovered in Great Namaland, Namibia, South Africa in 1836. It was estimated to have entered our atmosphere around 30,000 years ago.
