Mudrabilla

MB001
This beautiful meteorite was first found on the Nullarbor Plain of Western
Australia in 1911. The two largest pieces were found in 1966, they weighed 12
tons and 6 tons. Since then, many large and thousands of small pieces have been
found in one of the largest strewn fields on earth, stretching over 100
kilometers. Mundrabilla is an anomalous iron, re-described in 2002 as a
IAB complex, Mundrabilla duo. Meaning that it and another iron (Waterville)
share similar unique characteristics. This piece weighs in at 16.62 grams
