CDC001
This is the main mass, it weigh 800+ grams.
CDC003
This is a slice from CDC001. I have 7 slices from it. They all have very beautiful etches. The spot of rust is on there because I forgot to heat treat it after etching it, I will be re-polishing and re-etching it soon.
CDC002
This is a 1,024 gram Campo Del Cielo. This was the first meteorite that I ever purchased. It has since become my practice piece. I have been grinding a window and polishing it, and then etching it with 10% Nitric Acid 90% Ethyl Alcohol. When I am finished I then re-grind, re-polish, and re-etch it, with all of this practice I am getting pretty good. Pictures coming soon.
