About Illinois Meteorites

As of right now there have only been 9 meteorites found in the state of Illinois. We hope to find more. We are quite sure that we have a few more new finds, these are yet to be confirmed or classified, but are in the process. We hope to have these authenticated and classified as soon as we can. We are still out finding more if them. More photos to come soon.

I am currently looking for photos of Illinois meteorites for this page. If you have an IL meteorite or if you know where I would be able to obtain photos of them? I will fully credit the collector for the photo.

Here is a link to the possible new IL meteorite finds.
