Unclassified Saharan Meteorite
This is a really
nice looking stone meteorite. It has many black shock veins and has nice metal
flakes, no chondrules. I like how this one looks "as cut" rather than polished,
but this piece has both a polished face and an "as cut" face, the larger being
"as cut". This one has been sand blasted by the harsh sand storms of the Sahara
which left a beautiful exterior with desert varnish. This piece weigh between
16.5 and 17 grams, my scale is a bit off, sorry. I will let this one go for only
$10, this is a good price on a very rare meteorite.
