Impact Melt Breccia
This is a small,
but beautiful slice of an unclassified Impact Melt Breccia.
It had a porous gray
matrix and metal flakes, there are visible chondrules. It is as cut on one side
and sanded and polished on the other. It is identical to a few classified
Saharan and NWA meteorite. One of them is EL Arouse, which is classified as an
L-IMB. This slice is about 6.5 grams. I have seen this material go for between
$4 and$12. I will let this one go for only $3 per gram at
$18.
